He will be honored at Dinner With La Colmena on May 20th. This annual dinner is one of the most important events related to the immigrant community of Staten Island and seeks to raise money and awareness for migrant communities.
La Colmena is a community organization that works with low-wage immigrant workers and their families. It provides a range of services, including job training, advocacy, education and cultural activities. The group’s goal is to uplift Staten Island’s immigrant community to help its economic advancement.
Dinner With La Colmena is the organization’s annual dinner in which its membership celebrates its achievements over the past year and builds support for the future. Scheduled for May 20, the event will feature cultural performances and guest speakers, including David.
