Every New Yorker should applaud our great economic, jobs, and construction boom. But we must also keep constant pressure on New York’s employers, and on our politicians, to do everything in their power to protect the working man and woman in New York from on-the-job accidents, whether as home health aids, or city workers, or construction, demolition, or scaffold workers–every worker deserves the dignity of a good living wage and the right to a safe work place.
