SALARIOS MAL PAGADOS: ¡NO TE ENOJES, VENGARSE!

GREAT NEWS FROM OUR WAGE THEFT DEPARTMENT

In just a short period of time, our Partner, Darren Rumack, has settled several Wage & Hour cases against employers who refused to pay our clients a legal wage, and who refused to pay proper overtime, and who were guilty of other violations. The following names are changed for the privacy of our clients:

Darren Rumack Admitted to Washington D.C. Bar

We are very proud to announce that Darren Rumack has been admitted to the Washington, D.C. bar. Darren has had great success representing our clients who have been victimized by unscrupulous employers who commit wage theft and other illegal workplace abuses. He has secured justice for our clients who have been paid less than the legal minimum wage, who have been cheated out of their overtime pay and proper lunch and dinner breaks, and whose employers have refused to pay them their earned wages.

JUSTICE FOR VICTIM OF WAGE THEFT FROM OUR WAGE & HOURS DEPARTMENT

John Mendoza* worked as an auto detailer at an auto body shop in Queens. Although his boss made him work six days a week--and John was an excellent and diligent worker--John's boss paid him at a flat hourly salary. When John worked overtime, his boss refused to pay him at the legal overtime rate. John did not want to sue his boss for his rightful overtime pay; he was hoping that his boss would follow New York's wages and hours law, and give him the overtime already owed, as well as paying proper wages in the future.

WAGE THEFT SUCCESS FOR KITCHEN SUPPLY STORE WORKER

James Woo (all identifying information has been changed) worked in a store that sold kitchen supplies and cabinets. His employer paid in both cash and check. James was paid by the week, and was asked to work overtime on many days.

NO MORE WAGE THEFT AT BRONX DINER!

Darren Rumack, who is in charge of our Wage & Hours Department, has successfully settled the cases of two kitchen assistants from a diner in the Bronx. Their boss paid them in cash, refusing to pay a legal wage, forcing them to work overtime, then refusing to pay them their legal overtime wages.
